The Walther BWK 2 is a small folding head outdoor knife made of 440C stainless steel and walnut wood.

The BWK 2 is designed for those looking for a folding design and a classic bushcraft style tool. This size knife is perfect for light camp work, cooking, as well as everyday carry around town.

High quality stainless steel

The knife blade is made of the popular 440C stainless steel, hardened to 57-59 HRC. Due to the higher carbon content, the steel is resistant to wear, retains its working sharpness for a long time and sharpens relatively quickly and easily, which is important for an outdoor knife. The blade is covered with a titanium protective coating, which further protects against corrosion and aesthetically contrasts with the wooden inlays.

Easy cutting

The knife has a 4 mm thick blade with a utilitarian "drop-point" profile with a derived flat grind and a clearly rounded belly of the cutting edge. This combination ensures a smooth and easy cut, high blade strength and versatility of the knife.

The cross milling on the back is used to allow the finger to rest while working (thumb ramp).

Classic unfolding

The knife is unfolded with two hands using a nail cutout. This classic solution has been used for decades in, among other things, pocket knives and allows legal carry in many EU countries.

Strong locking mechanism

When the blade is extended, the locking mechanism on the knife comb engages the blade lock notch. To release the locking mechanism, the blade must be pressed into the strip visible in the handle cutout.

Wooden handle

The knife has elegant walnut wood finishing details with a matte finish. The handle has a contoured shape with a sharp cutout for the fingers, effectively improving the knife's grip and comfort.

The classic design is subtly broken up by blue anodized inserts and a clip that can be attached on either side of the handle.

A leather case for carrying the knife with a wide loop for a belt and a clip.
