The Ruixin RX 003 model is one of the clones of the famous Edge Pro sharpener. It is made entirely of metal, although not stainless steel, but nickel-plated iron. The base of the sharpener can be bolted to the tabletop or simply placed on the table and held by hand while working. The sharpening machine is assembled from several parts, so when disassembled it is very compact and easy to transport. The kit includes four sharpening stones, each of which is mounted on a plastic backing. You can quickly attach it to the guide and change it one by one to achieve the best result. The grits of these stones are 120, 320, 600 and 1500 grit. Manufacturers recommend sharpening the blade with smooth movements “from yourself”, without pressing on the blade until a burr appears. In addition to knives, the RX 003 can be used to sharpen scissors, construction or agricultural tools, and other items that require similar care. Each user can choose the sharpening angle independently, thanks to which it is possible to qualitatively sharpen knives for various purposes: thick hunting, tourist or the thinnest fillet knives.
