The full merger of the two Japanese giants Sanyo and Panasonic under the Panasonic brand took place in 2012. in April However, several product lines of the Sanyo brand were retained. One of them was the production of Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries. However, since 2014 in April Panasonic has launched a new series of Panasonic Eneloop batteries. The new line is represented by three different models:
- Eneloop Pro is a powerful battery for high power devices.
- Eneloop is a standard battery for any device.
- Eneloop Lite is a battery for small and medium power devices.
Eneloop pro
Panasonic Eneloop Pro AA 2550 mAh (BK-3HCCE) and Panasonic Eneloop Pro AAA 950 mAh (BK-4HCCE) batteries are the fourth generation of Eneloop batteries, continuing the Sanyo Eneloop XX high capacity battery line. The new batteries retained all the characteristics of the Sanyo Eneloop XX batteries. in 2015 A new model of Eneloop Pro batteries was released with the designation BK-3HCDE (increased minimum capacity to 2500mAh) and BK-4HCDE (increased minimum capacity to 930mAh).

Characteristics of Eneloop rechargeable batteries
Low temperature performance
Conventional NiMh batteries are very sensitive to low temperatures, as they quickly lose their capacity in cold weather (losses can be up to 90%). Thanks to Eneloop technology, Panasonic Eneloop batteries lose only a small part of their capacity (no more than 15%) at low temperatures (up to -20 degrees).
It is better to preserve the working tension
Most modern devices are very voltage sensitive and shut down when the battery voltage drops below 1.1 volts. Eneloop technology makes it possible to maintain the maximum possible battery voltage (more than 1.1 volts) much longer - almost until the battery is completely discharged.
Ability to work at high discharge current up to 4 amps
Many modern devices such as cameras, flashes, lights, etc. consumes a lot of energy, and long and efficient work requires a maximum efficient battery. Thanks to what Panasonic Eneloop batteries provide for longer and more stable operation of devices than conventional batteries.
Ready to use
Panasonic Eneloop batteries are pre-charged at the factory and, thanks to their low self-discharge, are ready to use straight out of the box without recharging.
